Developing our fine motor skills - getting strong fingers!

Everyday we plan and set up lots of different activities that will help the Nursery children to make their little       hands and fingers flexible and strong.

These activities are so important in order for the children to build up the muscles in their hands in readiness for handwriting.

These activities include pegging, threading, using tweezers, playing with play dough, small construction sets     like Lego, cutting, sticking, making marks with a range of equipment and tools.
