To celebrate bonfire night in Nursery, we have been making firework pictures in lots of different ways.  The       children have done some splatter painting (flicking the paintbrush onto the paper), printing with toilet rolls,         drawing fireworks with chalks and shiny pencils as well.  These activities have been great for developing fine   motor skills, creative skills and awareness of sounds.

We have also been learning about the different sounds the fireworks make, we watched a firework video and    talked about how to stay safe too.

I think you will agree, the children's firework pictures are bright, colourful and just like the real thing!

Pop!  Bang!  Whizz!  Boom!  Whoosh!  Whee!  Sizzle!  Crackle!
