Year 4 were invited to Poverest School, in Orpington, with four other schools to share songs they have been singing in class.

Our Year 4's sung, Hold Back the River and Hakuna Matata, which is a Swahili language phrase from East Africa.

The word "hakuna" means "no" while "matata" means "trouble". The phrase was popularised by the Disney film The Lion King (in which it is translated as "no worries" in a song named after the phrase). It is a song that all children recognise and it leaves you with a happy feeling and I'm sure that our Year 4's delivered that emotion at Poverest School.
